Fluven requires no account. We do not collect your name, email, browsing history, or purchase history, and we use no cookies, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking. We process a small amount of technical data to run and protect the service.
Product data you actively check. Visible listing details (title, brand, price, materials, labels) are sent to our server to compute a score. Scores are cached by product, never by user, for up to 30 days, and are not linked to you. No browsing history is collected.
A random device identifier. Generated on your device, used for fair-use rate limits and aggregate daily active counts, and stored only as a one-way hash. It cannot be linked to your identity.
Your IP address, transiently. Used in memory to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. It is not stored in our database, but may appear briefly in our hosting provider's standard infrastructure logs.
Chat messages you type. Questions asked in "Ask Fluven" are sent to our server and AI providers to generate a reply. We do not store them. Please do not include personal information in chat.
Names, emails, passwords, payment details, Amazon account information, browsing or purchase history, precise location, cookies, or advertising identifiers. No ads, no selling of data.
Sustainability analysis is performed by Anthropic (Claude models), with OpenAI as an automatic backup. Hosting is provided by Render. Processing occurs in the United States.
We rely on legitimate interests: delivering the scoring you request and protecting the service from abuse. We do not perform profiling or automated decisions with legal effect.
Product scores are retained for up to 30 days. Aggregate counters are retained in non-identifiable form. Your device identifier stays on your device until uninstall.
Because we hold no identified personal data, access, correction, and erasure are satisfied by design. Uninstalling the extension removes the device identifier and cached scores. EEA, UK, and California users may contact us with any privacy request. EEA and UK users may also complain to their supervisory authority.
Fluven is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data.
The effective date above updates whenever this policy changes.
